Wow…just wow…. for you guys thinking about treatment, please read this – it’s worth a minute or two, as it says so much. This lovely chap has gone out of his way to tell his story, and i’m so chuffed he has. Mr T, you’re a star!
“I decided I’d had enough of shaving so I plucked up the courage to phone a few beauty salons to see if they would do male intimate waxing. Out of about 10 I found one who said she would wax me. When I got there she was friendly and done a good job but she used strip wax (I don’t now how you ladies get this done every month, ouch!).
I’d heard of a new type of wax that just stuck to the hairs, not your skin so it would be less painful (yes I’m a wimp). I found a place that used the wax and was willing to treat me. When I got there, I was told to take the bottom half of my clothes off and lie down and cover myself with a towel. When she came back, off come the towel. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The wax burnt me and I was left looking like a plucked chicken! I thought it would go down after a day or two but it didn’t. I started to get ingrowing hairs. I was so embarrased I was trying to hide it from my wife but eventually I had to show her. I didn’t know what to do or how to treat it but I was too embarrassed to go to my GP. It took a good 4 to 5 months to settle down. I still didn’t want to shave but there was no way I was having any more waxing done!
That’s when I found Sally at Xodos. I booked in for a free patch test, and when I got there she explained everything to me – what to expect and how it worked. Sally was really friendly and easy to talk to, she put my nerves at easy straight away. Be for I knew it, the patch test was done. A few weeks later I booked a full course. Sallys treatment is the most dignified way I have been treated (the towel stays on!). When I go to Sally now it’s like talking to an old friend.
I’m now near the end of my course and my skin has totally settled down, no ingrowing hairs, no pain. I couldn’t be happier with the results – all I can say is it really does work. thank you very much Sally.”
You are mosts welcome!
